<a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4325297">wunghau</a> from xda-developers has shared this neat weather widget in the Galaxy Ace boards but it is working on the Galaxy Y just fine in terms of widget size and image quality. 
 
The widget has been extracted from some duplicate Note II device (Chinese I suppose). It is not powered by AccuWeather but by YAWeather. 
 
This widget for now has only one bug, and that is adding the city. It very likely that you will get an error message that it fails to add a city, that problem can easily be solved by following the instructions you will find below.

Instructions: 
<ol>
<li>Download the APK to your sdcard</li>
<li>Install it just like you install any app</li>
<li>Go to your homescreen and long-press</li>
<li>Go to Widgets, scroll down and you should see the YA Widget app</li>
<li>Choose either 4x1 or 4x2 and it will appear</li>
<li>Tap on the widget to add a city</li>
</ol>
If it says failed to add city: 
<ol>
<li>Uninstall the app</li>
<li>Boot into Recovery mode and wipe cache</li>
<li>Reboot your phone, install the widget again and try adding a city</li>
<li>Enjoy</li>
</ol>

The Nemesis Dev Team has released a version 2 of their custom ROM called Nemesis Titanium. 
 
This version has received a complete revamp of the graphics, it gives a much more colorful look to your device. This version also comes kernel free so this time you may not have any problems and/or conflicts when trying to install as you can use this with any kernel you want.

Instructions:

<li>Boot into CWM Recovery</li>
<li>Wipe cache and data</li>
<li>Choose to install zip from sdcard</li>
<li>Locate and find the nemesis 2 zip file</li>
<li>Choose it, choose Yes when asked</li>
<li>Wait for installation to be complete, then go back and choose reboot system now</li>
<li>Enjoy  </li>
</ol>
