Many people ask me what kind of ROM I am using, it's a stock customized to my desires. I prefer the stock Samsung TouchWiz look than any other themes including JellyBean. Currently I am still a junior in development and I am slowly beginning to understand things. I plan on keeping the Samsung TouchWiz look in pretty much any app I could try, but the look of a more expensive Galaxy Phone. I've always wanted to see the look of a Samsung Galaxy S Advance for example on my Samsung Galaxy Y. And of course, a lot of neat tweaks and much much more goodies behind all of that. 
I'm pretty sure everyone wants to have his cheap phone to look like an expensive one.

Galaxy Young and Galaxy Fame Android Version 4.1 Released.

Dreams came true and finally we got our Galaxy Young officially on JellyBean 4.1. Samsung now released two new models of galaxy series...

[ROM] Simplicity V5 for Samsung Galaxy Y

Simplicity is a rom ported from the Samsung Galaxy Ace. From the looks of it, both <a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4728903">marcussmith2626</a> and <a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4971058">tom411</a> from xda-developers seem to be tweaking it. 
The rom consists of a mixture look of more expensive Samsung Galaxy phones. We've got a very beautiful Settings app, a changed notifications screen with a lot of toggles, extended power menu, and much much more, all of that keeping the simple Samsung stock look. This rom is a must for stock lovers.

<li>Boot into recovery mode, then flash CWM recovery if you have stock integrated</li>
<li>Wipe data and cache</li>
<li>Go to mounts and storage and be sure to mount everything you can</li>
<li>Go back, choose to install zip from sdcard</li>
<li>Select the rom zip file, choose Yes when asked</li>
<li>After installation is complete, go back and reboot the phone</li>
<li>Once the phone starts up, boot into Recovery mode again and flash the Status Bar Mod zip file (no need for data/cache wipes)</li>
<li>Reboot and enjoy</li>

<a href="http://forum.xda-developers.com/member.php?u=4843361">SaM-RoN</a> from xda-developers forums has surprised us once again with another app exported off a Chinese device, and slightly modified by him to fit the phone. 
 
This app contains 11 different lockscreens for your Galaxy Y. So you do not need to flash a custom ROM, modify any system files and thing such as that. 
 
There is one small problem though. When you choose a custom lockscreen on this app and lock your phone, you may notice that first you go through your default system lockscreen and then you see the custom lockscreen. 
Now this problem can be solved very easy, stock users can download and install the free app called <a href="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.jraf.android.nolock" target="_blank">No Lock</a> from the Google Play store. Everything you need to know on how to setup the custom lockscreen and get rid of the default lockscreen is explained in the video you will see below.

Instructions: 
<ol>
<li>Download the zip to your sdcard</li>
<li>Boot into Recovery mode</li>
<li>Flash CWM Recovery</li>
<li>Go to mounts and storage, be sure /system is mounted, mount it if it's not</li>
<li>Go back, choose to install zip from sdcard, choose zip from sdcard</li>
<li>Choose yes</li>
<li>Reboot</li>
