» » [ROM] Nemesis Two (Titanium) for Samsung Galaxy Y

The Nemesis Dev Team has released a version 2 of their custom ROM called Nemesis Titanium.

 This version has received a complete revamp of the graphics, it gives a much more colorful look to your device. This version also comes kernel free so this time you may not have any problems and/or conflicts when trying to install as you can use this with any kernel you want.

 Download ROM - Click here. (Dev-host)
Dropbox mirror - Click here.

Instructions: 
  1. Download the ROM to your sdcard
  2. Boot into CWM Recovery
  3. Wipe cache and data
  4. Choose to install zip from sdcard
  5. Locate and find the nemesis 2 zip file
  6. Choose it, choose Yes when asked
  7. Wait for installation to be complete, then go back and choose reboot system now
  8. Enjoy

    FINALLY....NEMESIS 2 (codenamed : TITANIUM)



    - first off...hats off and huge thanks to the devs for making the flashing process so damned EASY and SIMPLE...



    - secondly...the UI is really refreshing...it was plain boring to keep seeing the SAME OLD BORING jellybean theme in every single ROM



    - for all those who like David Guetta...you're in for a suprise on first boot...



    - ROM looks great...amazing speeds (without apps installed)



    - for all those having problems with the DATA connection, this is what i did..

    - go to settings.

    - click on more under WIRELESS & NETWORKS

    -scroll down to mobile networks

    - tap access point names

    - tap options.

    - reset to default.

    - reboot!



    - the immediate problem which i noticed was in the UI...its all transparent...makes reading some text a little difficult. Minor problem...but prevelant nonetheless.



    - i have installed hells fusion kernel #50...works like a charm...



    - just installed link2sd...created mount scripts...and its all going just FINE...



    - like the brightness slider hidden behind the clock. (helps to max out our already expensive screen real estate.0)



    - wifi, mobile data working fine... (since i dont have 3g i cant test that...but i'll just assume that it's going to work)



    - nemesis owner apparently requires quickpic as usual.



    -messaging app same as nemesis one.



    - apart from the com.android.phone force close error...no other errors encountered as yet.



    - phone keypad has rainbow colors on number press ...



    - also phone.apk has been themed again.



    - link2sd working flawlessly! woohoo!!!



    - message recipient box has white on white error during number prediction.same as in nemesis one



    - nemesis music app has many bugs (thats going in another message altogether ..)



    - play music app works fine....black on black issues there..need attention.



    - play music has notification controls.



    - ABSOLUTELY AND TOTALLY LOVE THE FACT THAT WE CAN ALTER SCREEN COLORS AS WE WANT....



    - kicks night mode in chainfire 3d right out the damn window!!!



    - camera works flawlessly no problems.



    - i dont particularly like the launcher...but that's my view..i'll be switching to holo launcher soon



    - screen filter app is a waste...you've already added screen adjuster...to great success! )



    - settings app kept pretty simple...all extra tweaks shifted to nemesis HUB...which is kinda nice...cause i hated that LGUI 3.0 theme...it sucked...HARD...



    - still cant get over the bootanimation...simple and sweet...basically amazing.



    - im completely ignoring the problems of nemesis hub right now...because according to avijit there's going to be an OTA update for that...so lets wait for that as well....









    ALL IN ALL....

    i dont know why other's would want to criticize this ROM...



    i find it absolutely, completely STABLE....and fit for everyday use...



    looking forward to the OTA updates...



    till then,

    AMAZING WORK on this ROM...surpassed anything that i had expected..



    UI is great.....



    great job guys...

    Either go to stock first or try formatting /system through Clockworkmod Recovery and then try flashing the rom.

    Hello, yes you can. Just make sure that after wiping data and before flashing the zip file you head into mounts and storage -> then choose format /system and then choose mount /system

    Then you just go back and flash the zip file.
