- Root your phone. If already rooted, proceed to the next step.(How to root Galaxy Y-click here)
- Remove a2sd if you have it. You can use link2Sd.
- Place the above file to your sd card (NOT IN ANY FOLDER!!!)
- Switch off your phone.
- Go to Clockwork mode. If you don't know what is CWM, click here.
- Use the volume keys to move up and down.
- Wipe data and cache and Dalvik cache.

ReplyDelete@ aniljarly - If it's stuck on the logo for a long time, try turning off the phone and going to Recovery mode, then do a data and cache wipe and reboot. See if it will boot this time. If it doesn't, then just flash to stock. ;)

ReplyDeleteThere is a rumor that the Jelly Bean Search Bar Apk is sending unknown sms to an Indian number because the CSC is an Indian Version.
YOU CAN FIX THIS BY REPLACING THE CSC FOR YOUR REGION.
INSTRUCTION:
1. back up your rom 1st using cwm as this procedure will wipe data
2. use odin and flash the lates csc of your region, remember when you extract the zip from doky it contains 3 files right? just use csc no need for the other two
3. after flashing boot you phone and dial *#272*( your phone IMEI)#
4. next a pop up menu will appear now select your carrier ex. here in philippines my carrier is SMART so i choose SMA from the menu
5. phone will reboot to stock recovery and change csc at the same time wipe data
6. phone will now boot up and voila no more annoying sending of sms to india
7.but wait your phone just got data wipe! now the backup come in handy
8. reboot to cwm
9. chosse backup and restore >>> advance restore >>> select your rom back up >>> restore data
10. now you changed csc. no more annoying text message being sent and you got your apps and data back
note: kernel must have stock recovery so savie#62/#73 white 8 rc3 or any other kernel with cwm as built in recovery i am not sure if it will change csc as i used my own kernel which has stock recovery not cwm built in

ReplyDelete@Vikas Kalapur- her's what you need to do. make sure that when you install the jellblast v3 will also installed the "Kernel" because this is where the system will load properly and make sure it will complete.then go to /clear factory reset / and, /cache/ - clear it as well,reboot your phone. *Note* pls be patient because it takes a little while before it boot to the screen, never attempt to touch anything. don't remove the battery, just wait and you'lll see that everything willl be fine. gudluck!

DeleteGoogle "Odin 1.85" and download the program, but DO NOT mess with the options while you have your phone connected in downloading mode, consequences could be bad. If you're not aware of how to flash a stock rom package with Odin, look up the tutorial here it's in the Tutorials category.
I tried this jellyblast and it work efficiently, I like it, but why i can't use lockscreen. Second,if I want to update to v3.0.4.......v3.0.1,v3.0.2 and v3.0.3 need to be install or not

ReplyDeleteI wiped data / cache partition and Dalvik cache also through CWM recovery but not able to reach home screen of JBV3. I repeated the same procedure 3-4 times but nothing happened.
I tried to install other ROMs also and could flash them. Those were Aurora V2 and Hybrid ROM V5.0 and now continuing with stock ROM.
What can be done to resolve the problem. My eMMC chip is working fine.
Do all apps like whats app,facebook messenger work on this rom?

actually this is a ROM not great ROM...code is poor..dev needs to take a time to reach at goal..conflict between stock and halo launcher..a basic UI should be considered..
