So we're all aware of the fact that we won't be seeing official Android 4.4 Kit Kat on the Galaxy Y but there will always be workarounds to enjoy the Kit Kat taste.

Unfortunately, this is just a theme and will definitely not bring the full Kit Kat experience such as RAM optimization, ART, and everything else new, but you will still have the design. This theme was made by recognized themer san122 from xda-developers forums.

Installation:

Note: It is advisable that you make a nandroid backup of your current rom just incase.
  1. Download the zip file to your sdcard
  2. Power off your phone
  3. Boot into CWM Recovery
  4. Flash the zip file
  5. Reboot

    Haha, well I was not dead, that's for sure. :) Was just a bit overwhelmed with personal stuff, then the holidays started, etc. Trying to advance the lost time now.

    I have installed this but after using it i found few bugs. Please developer note this
    1) Typing window got hidden behind the keypad so thats why i unable to see what i am typing.
    2) I unable to delete alarms.
    3) FM radio not adding stations.
    4) Can't download anything from playstore.
