High-Velocity v1.0 by Ne.xt from xda-developers is a compilation of various tweaks that enhance your Samsung Galaxy Y experience. He claims that "with HV, 'slow & lag' won't ever exist on your phone".

Requirements:
  • A custom kernel that supports init.d
  • 2MB free space in /system partition
  • Atleast 1-5MB free on your /data partition
  • Clockworkmod Recovery
Download - Click here.

 Instructions: 
  1. Download the zip file to your sdcard
  2. Boot into CWM Recovery and mount /system
  3. Go back, choose to install zip from sdcard
  4. Choose the zip file, choose Yes when asked
  5. After installation is complete, go back and choose reboot system now 
  6. Enjoy the speed!

    This is the best. I really feel it in my galaxy y spine. Great Work :D 5 star for me. Im using hell-lock kernel and a combination of (creed, remix v1, remix v2, neoxblackstar) ROM, im using next launcher 3d too :D

    Your kernel may have had some other scripts thus causing a conflict. Anyways, flash a stock kernel in download mode and you should be fine.


    Then try installing this tweaks compilation with a different kernel.

    BTW..i'm using Hells Fusion kernel..and i saw that it supports init.d,,so i've downloaded and install it..but when i install this script,..my phone wont boot.
