Hyperion 7.x Pre GM 

NOTHING NEW, JUST THIS:
  • More smoother UI - Project Butter Hyperion style  | Speed and stability will always be a priority and not eye candy 
  • Tamed Mother of all Host - not sure though if it's Grandma Host on this package, but who cares? Host file is less agressive now and this will solve problems with sites (specially file sharing sites) not loading.

  • Graphics driver for smoother gaming experience.
  • Some libs and *I think some modules as well.

ADDED
  • Sound Theme - Linda Sounds Mod (the most complete set).

FIXED
  1. WiFi Issues - caused by Multi-CSC mod that affects WiFi banding depending on the market where your device was officially released. In future I might include CSC + WiFi CSC editing so you can take control of WiFi banding (device <-> router connectivity).
  2. Tick/Untick bug in some checkbox item(s) in settings - might also be region related problem.
  3. Most black text over dark background (some are still present because they don't depend on framework/SystemUI)
BACK FROM THE DEAD
I know you missed the good old TouchWhiz Launcher, so here it is, old guy new look

  • Support AppShare in app drawer
  • Random icon background support (currently list view only)
  • Opacity tweaked to match the overall transparency of UI

INSTALLATION
Flash Hyperion using STOCK RECOVERY
  1. Go to recovery by pressing the HOME button + VOLUME UP key and the POWER BUTTON
  2. Select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
  3. Select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
  4. Select APPLY UPDATE FROM SDCARD
  5. After installing, reboot your phone
Flash Hyperion using CWM (ClockWorkMod) RECOVERY
  1. Go to recovery by pressing the HOME button + VOLUME UP key and the POWER BUTTON
  2. Select MOUNTS AND STORAGE
  3. Mount /system
  4. Mount /data
  5. Mount /sdcard
  6. Select WIPE DALVIK-CACHE from Advance and Debugging
  7. Select WIPE BATTERY STATS from Advance and Debugging
  8. Select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
  9. Select WIPE CACHE PARTITION
  10. Select INSTALL ZIP FROM SD CARD
  11. Select SELECT ZIP FROM SD CARD
  12. After installing, press the power button to go back and select REBOOT SYSTEM NOW

    Bad news guys it s doing force close with almost all the system application so fix it and by the way it happend not only to me but several of my friends!!!!

    such a nice rom...im using it and its very awesome..hyperion 7.x is the best custom rom i ever installed..i love the slide to remove notification..

      If you get stuck on logo, re-do the part where you wipe cache and data, then reboot. If it still doesn't boot up then flash a stock ROM using Odin. You can find the guide here in the Tutorials category.

    I have installed Hyperion 7 and it's good and smooth except for one thing... Media players (MX, Poweramp) and even the native players (Music and Movies) are not reading audio/video files that are located in a folder within subfolders. It is a very big deal specially if you have a lot of music/video files and you want your sd card to be organized...

    Need help please...

    sir i have flashed the hyperion 7 without wiping data and cache..so it unable to open it struct at
    logo and unable to goto recovery mode please help me sir...shall i goto service centre...

      No you don't need to take it to a service centre.

      Just follow my video guide on flashing stock ROM using Odin. You can find it in this blog under Tutorials category.

    @sai sai just flash the zip file again. it will be fine. do it AGAIN AND DO A WIPE DATA/CACHE no need to flash it back to stock rom again just do the flashing again just go to the recovery and do the instruction what the video tutorial shown

    I flashed the rom using clockworkmod recovery. I followed all the steps mentioned above , but after reboot my phone struck at Galaxy logo. Even when i tried to boot into recovery mode to restore my stock rom using CWM recovery it does not boot into recovery mode .. What to do?

      It should be able to boot into recovery mode, after that choose to wipe data/cache, then reboot.

      Check if you have the "Use only 2G networks" option enabled.

    @joako just Change the Network Mode to WCDMA(3G). don't use GSM(2G) or (Auto)

    Its bad cant update youtube neither superuser. I cant install google play services as well. Its just good by the looks nothing else. All the apps keeps getting forced closed.

    I have just installed this rom. Faced problem and got stuck to sgy logo on reboot. But that was my mistake. This rom is pretty cool. I had previously used repencis 3.5 and creed 3.5. I must say that this is better than those two in terms of look, UI and speed,
    I just installed it. I did not face any major bugs.

    You need to make sure all of the 3 mentioned things above are mounted. You can do that by flashing CWM recovery then going to "mounts and storage".


    If you don't see "mount" on them but "unmount", that means they are already mounted.

    Try disabling the firewall, I believe it was Droidwall called. I completely forgot, sorry just take a look at the setting somewhere it should be there.

    That is because you've installed it over Custom ROM to fix that
    Go to Download Mode Install stock ROM and I prefer clockwork to apply the rom after applying
    It gives samsung logo for about 1-2 Mins just wait you're done
